Join us for 3 days of lively and challenging discussions with international Lean leaders who will share their fascinating research, experience and insights related to healthcare innovation. This year's hot topic will be the unique challenges of healthcare Facility Design and how Lean thinking can create a better hospital that supports future work.
The Lean Leadership retreat is designed to address Lean implementation opportunities and challenges featuring presentations on practical experiences, research and new applications. The target audience is CEOs, COOs, CNOs, physicians engaged with quality improvement, directors of quality/process improvements departments and anyone else interested in learning more about Lean for healthcare.
The 8th Annual Lean Leadership Retreat will also feature an optional Introduction to Lean session the evening of Sunday, September 23 at no additional cost. The objective of this session is to prepare participants who are new-to-Lean so that they may benefit fully from the subsequent conference presentations. All participants are welcome to attend this Lean overview.
At the closing of the conference we will recognize one organization for its exemplary work improving healthcare through an internal Lean culture. If your organization has achieved remarkable improvements with Lean then enter it now for the 2012 Art of Innovation Awards!
New this year: Lean Healthcare West is offering private coaching sessions and will allow one organization to present their Lean project for constructive feedback from the Lean Healthcare West staff. This is a user focused event so bring your Lean projects to share with the group. By sharing experiences and challenges we can all work together to improve the delivery of healthcare using Lean thinking. If you would like your project to be considered for LHW coaching then please submit a short synopsis to Karl@leanhealthcarewest.com.
